Mid-Senior-Level Auditor

Full-Time Position | Benefits include private office

As an experienced audit associate, you will continue your career working with privately held companies in diverse industries, non-profit organizations and governments. While working on various team engagements, you will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the engagement, not just selective sections or tasks. Your contribution will include assisting with engagement planning, evaluation of risk assessment and establishing the audit approach. You will be the primary client contact while conducting fieldwork. In addition, you will be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to entry-level associates, completion of all aspects of the engagement including drafting financial statements and reports.

Tax Preparer (Seasonal)

Seasonal Full-Time Position | Benefits

This is a seasonal position, from January through mid-April, and offers a competitive hourly wage and overtime pay. We provide a flexible work schedule in an enjoyable working environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of individual tax returns including federal, state and city returns

  • Preparation of corporation, partnership, trust and gift tax returns for clients in various industries

  • Fixed asset, depreciation and applicable adjustments to the general ledger

  • Research tax related questions and issues

  • Scan documents, creating and maintaining both electronic and paper client files

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualified candidates should possess the following skills or experience:

  • Ability to multi-task, remain calm, prioritize, and stay organized under deadlines

  • Ability to adapt to new technology and various software programs

  • Willingness to adapt to changing situations and needs in a positive manner

Bookkeeper

Full-Time Position | Benefits include private office

This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to providing accounting services to clients. This individual is responsible for understanding our firmís service approach, professional requirements and lines of business. As the bookkeeper's ability to assume greater levels of responsibility is demonstrated, more complex technical areas and responsibilities may be assigned. This individual supports the firmís mission, vision and values by exhibiting excellence, teamwork, respect, personalization, commitment and accountability.

You will be provided guidance from patient, experienced professionals using the latest in technology in a paperless work environment.

Job responsibilities include the following:

  • Properly code and complete data entry of bank statement and other bookkeeping transactions.

  • Complete the month-end process for clients.

  • Reconcile bank accounts for clients.

  • Provide backup support as needed to other accounting services personnel and their clients.

  • Prepare reports, returns and other documents as required, including payroll reports, sales tax returns, year-end tax forms, monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and other reports required by clients.

  • Prepare 1099, 1098, 1096 and other related tax forms.

Required knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills

  • Basic accounting concepts

  • Detail-oriented and highly accurate

  • The ability to multi-task and meet firm deadlines

  • Knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries
